How Nettei researches, labels, checks and maintains its outdoor guides and news links.
What Nettei publishes
Nettei publishes destination guides, planning notes, source-based explainers and first-hand field reports when an author actually observed a place. A researched guide is not described as a visit.
Sources and verification
Our standard requires practical claims to be checked against the listed sources. A source review is not a site visit or a guarantee of live conditions. Local rules, access, prices, opening hours, hazards and conditions can change, so time-sensitive pages carry a published, updated or verified date when that information is available.
News links
The news section reads a bounded snapshot from a short list of public feeds. It shows a headline, a short excerpt, attribution and a link to the publisher. These snapshots are kept crawlable for users and internal links, but individual snapshots are marked noindex because the publisher's page is the primary source.
Publishing checks
New articles begin unpublished. Our standard requires supporting evidence, a distinct useful answer, image provenance and a second editorial review. Automated checks find malformed metadata and repeated copy; they cannot verify truth or originality.
Use of AI
AI tools have been used to research, draft and revise articles and assist editorial checks. An agent review is not a human expert review unless that person is explicitly credited. Generated text and illustrations are not firsthand reporting. Repeated legacy material is being removed; the older archive has not received a complete independent fact check.
Images and links
Image credits and specific source links accompany the material they support. Nettei does not copy full articles from external publishers or from Garbamons.
Corrections
If a source, date, image credit or practical claim changes, the page should be checked against the responsible authority or publisher and updated with the new date. The About page explains the relationship between Nettei and Garbamons.
