How Nettei researches, labels, checks and maintains its outdoor guides and news links.
What Nettei publishes
Nettei publishes destination guides, planning notes, source-based explainers and first-hand field reports when an author actually observed a place. A researched guide is not described as a visit.
Sources and verification
Practical claims are checked against the sources listed on the article. Local rules, access, prices, opening hours, hazards and conditions can change, so time-sensitive pages carry a published, updated or verified date when that information is available.
News links
The news section reads a bounded snapshot from a short list of public feeds. It shows a headline, a short excerpt, attribution and a link to the publisher. These snapshots are kept crawlable for users and internal links, but individual snapshots are marked noindex because the publisher's page is the primary source.
Publishing checks
Article frontmatter is validated for dates, taxonomy, source URLs, image provenance and the safe MDX subset before the content manifest is generated. New articles start as drafts. Set indexable to false when an article needs editorial work after its draft state is removed.
Images and links
Image credits, source links and Garbamons hand-offs stay attached to the page where they are used. Nettei does not copy full articles from external publishers or from Garbamons.
Corrections
If a source, date, image credit or practical claim changes, the page should be checked against the responsible authority or publisher and updated with the new date. The About page explains the relationship between Nettei and Garbamons.
