What Nettei does not currently do

Nettei does not currently provide user accounts, comments, contact forms, newsletters, advertising profiles or behavioural analytics. The site does not ask you to submit personal information to read its pages.

Preferences stored in your browser

• The nettei-locale cookie remembers your preferred language. It can last for up to one year and is used only to choose the site's language.
• The nettei-cookie-notice cookie remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice. It can last for up to one year and does not contain personal information.
• The theme preference is stored in your browser's localStorage so the site can remember light or dark mode. It is not sent to Nettei as a form submission.

Technical data

When you request a page, the hosting provider, CDN and security services may process ordinary technical data such as an IP address, browser and device information, request time, referrer and the requested URL. This data is used to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service, and is handled according to the relevant provider's policies and retention settings.

Third-party content

Some pages load images from Pexels and may embed or link to services such as YouTube, Garbamons and external publishers. When your browser connects to one of those services, that service may receive technical information under its own privacy policy. Opening an external link is your choice.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and localStorage in your browser, block third-party content, or use browser privacy controls. Clearing the language cookie may make the site ask you to choose a language again. Blocking external content can prevent an image, video or map link from working.

Updates

This notice may change if Nettei adds accounts, forms, analytics, advertising or another data-handling feature. The date above will be updated when the notice changes.
