Aluminium recycling spared: Recycling Europe welcomes EU retreat on scrap export restrictions
Recycling Europe has welcomed the European Commission's decision to step back from a proposed trade measure that could have restricted exports of recycled aluminium. The EU move, the organisation says, opens the door to a constructive discussion on strengthening the competitiveness of Europe's entire aluminium value chain.
