Tre Cime di Lavaredo: reserve the Auronzo road before planning the loop

Reserve the approach before the loop#

The standard walk links Rifugio Auronzo, Forcella Lavaredo and Rifugio Locatelli before returning to the Auronzo area. That high route has uneven alpine ground, exposed weather and limited shelter between refuges. A parking reservation solves only the vehicle access problem: carry layers, water and a route plan for wind, rain or low cloud, and turn around when the conditions no longer fit the group (official mountain-road information).

If the road is full or closed, use the current public-transport or shuttle arrangement rather than stopping on a mountain road. A shuttle ticket and a parking reservation are different products; confirm where each begins and ends. Save the booking and the vehicle plate exactly as entered.
